The data controller is Letovisko Chobot s.r.o., Company ID 07533438, with its registered office at Kácov 125, 285 09 Kácov. The premises where guests stay are at Kácov 350. For anything to do with personal data, reach us at chobot@letoviskochobot.cz or on +420 607 559 401.

Accommodation bookings: first and last name, e-mail, phone, country, number of guests, dates and any message. We need these to conclude and fulfil the accommodation contract and to meet the legal duties of an accommodation provider (guest register, foreign-national records, local fees).

Wedding, celebration or corporate event enquiries: name, e-mail, phone, company if applicable, date, number of guests and a description of what you have in mind. Used to discuss the contract and prepare an offer.

The Lelek guide: we pass the text of your question to an AI service (Anthropic) so it can answer. Questions are not stored together with your identity; we only count a daily limit of questions by IP address, to stop the service being misused. If you dictate a question, the recording is transcribed by OpenAI and is not kept after transcription.

Website operating logs: IP address, time and page address in the hosting’s technical logs. We process these on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the site securely.

Bookings are recorded in the Previo reservation system, where we manage occupancy and guest accounts. Website data is stored in a Supabase database (servers in the EU) and the site runs on the Vercel platform. Confirmations and messages are sent by e-mail. Questions to Lelek are processed by Anthropic, and dictated recordings by OpenAI; we pass both only the text of the question, or the recording, and never your contact details. Transfers to providers outside the EU are covered by standard contractual clauses.

We pass data to public authorities only where the law requires it (records of accommodated foreign nationals, local fees, accounting).

We keep booking records and accounting documents for 10 years under accounting law, and the guest register for 6 years. Event enquiries that did not lead to a contract are deleted within 3 years of the last contact. Website technical logs are deleted within 30 days.

The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics. It stores only what is technically necessary in your browser’s storage: a booking in progress, so you don’t lose it when switching apartments, and your chosen language. This data stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
