Half an hour from Prague — and a world away
We are in the Sázava valley near Kácov. You leave the motorway, drive past the woods, and the resort opens up after the last bend. Park the car and you won’t need it for the next three days.
Around you are birches, meadows and a quiet that takes a while to get used to. In the evening you can hear the forest. That is where the resort gets its name — it is named after the nightjar, “lelek” in Czech, a night bird in no hurry to get anywhere.
