Terms and cancellation policy

Submitting the booking form on the website creates a non-binding booking: we hold the dates for you, and within the next few hours we’ll e-mail you the deposit amount and how and by when to pay it. The booking becomes binding once the deposit is paid within the stated deadline; if it doesn’t arrive, we release the dates.

Prices on the website are quoted for the whole stay, for the number of guests and dates you enter, including VAT, and match the prices in our reservation system. You settle the balance of your stay and any extra spending on site — cash, card or bank transfer, as agreed.

Arrival and departure times, the number of beds and the apartment’s amenities are in your booking confirmation. Apartments are non-smoking.

Cancelling more than 14 days before arrival is free, and we refund the deposit in full. Cancelling 14 to 8 days before arrival is charged at 20% of the stay price, 7 days to 48 hours before arrival at 50% of the stay price, and within the last 48 hours before arrival, as well as for a no-show, the full stay price applies. We offset the cancellation fee against the deposit and refund any difference to the account it came from within 14 days.

You can cancel a booking via the link in your confirmation e-mail or by writing to chobot@letoviskochobot.cz; the moment it reaches us is what counts. If we ever have to cancel your stay, we will refund everything you have paid and try to offer you an alternative date.

We prepare events to order: after your enquiry, you’ll receive an offer with the price, the deposit amount, its due date and the cancellation terms that apply to that event. A binding order is created once you confirm the offer and pay the deposit. Final numbers and the food selection are confirmed no later than a week before the event, and the final price is calculated from those.

Food and drink at events is provided exclusively by us — outside catering and bringing your own alcohol are not possible, because we are responsible for everything we serve, from purchase to plating. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept a cake with cream or whipped-cream filling brought from outside; dry pastries are fine.

If anything isn’t right, tell us straight away at reception or write to chobot@letoviskochobot.cz — we can sort out most things on the spot. Consumers have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) or via the European platform ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
